Although all of our standards are important in making us an industry leader, all of our agents must meet one standard above all others: they must care about children. Over the past quarter-century, we have learned the single most persuasive "technique" for dealing with troubled youths is caring about them. Consequently, we only hire and train agents who are genuinely concerned with helping kids make healthy, safe decisions.
In addition, all of our agents must pass a rigorous background check, and all of our primary agents are trained in the following areas:

- Proper Use of Restraint
- Verbal De-escalation
- Grief and Loss
Many of our staff members provide training for other agencies, law enforcement officers, and other professionals. In addition, continuing education is a top priority at The Center for Safe Youth, and our agents receive the most current and highest quality training in the industry.
